Goan Style Beans Foogath



 The word foogath  originated from the portugeseword “  Refogado” meaning to saute in oil or butter and seasonings. Goans referring Fugad or Foogath to a vegetable dish cooked with coconut.

So let’s go the recipe:

Ingredients

Curry leaves – 1 sprig

Mustard seeds – a pinch

Salt – to taste

Oil – you can use vegetable oil or sunflower oil or coconut oil

Green chili -3-4 sliced into small pieces

Beans – sliced into ¼ ”  inch size pieces.

Grated coconut – ¼ cup

Sliced onion- ¼ cup
