Chicken Pepper Roast
Ingredients
Chicken- 1 small
Onion-2
Curry leaves- a few
Salt- to taste
Oil
Masala used
Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
Chili powder- 1 tsp
Peppercorns- 2 tsp
Cumin -1 tsp
Ginger -1” piece
Garlic -4
Method
In a pressure cooker, add washed and clean chicken pieces.
Add the prepared masala, salt to taste, and required amount of water.
Mix everything nicely. Pressure cook till 2-3whistle comes or it 3/4th cooked.
Heat oil in a pan, add sliced onion and curry leaves. Saute everything till it becomes translucent.
Add chicken pieces with stock 3/4th cup, and cook till it becomes dry.
Stir it occasionally. Serve it as a side dish.
