Gobi Manchurian Dry
Ingredients
cauliflower - 1 medium size
for marination
cornflour- 1/2 cup
maida- 1/4cup
ginger- garlic paste- 2 tbspoon
red chilly powder- 1 tablespoon
salt - as needed
for the preparation of Manchurian
sunflower oil- as needed
garlic- cut into thin slices- 1 tbspoon
capsicum- 1 (cut into 1/2 inch size pieces)
onion- 1 big
soya sauce- 1 1/2 tablespoon
tomato sauce- 3 tablespoon
red chilly powder- 1 tspoon
salt - as needed
cornflour- 1 tablespoon mixed with 3 tablespoon of water
Method
In a vessel boil water. Add turmeric powder and salt as needed. Then add cauliflower in medium-sized florets
Boil it till the cauliflower becomes half cooked.
Allow it to drain.
Mix all the ingredients needed for marination with water to make it a smooth paste
And marinate cauliflower and keep it aside for 15- 30 mins
Heat oil in a frying pan, and fry the marinated cauliflower till it becomes golden brown.
Heat oil in another pan, add the sliced garlic and saute for 2 mins
into it add onion and capsicum again saute for 3 mins
into this, you can also add spring onions as per your taste.
Then add red chilly powder and salt, mix everything nicely
Then add soya sauce again mix everything nicely, and then add tomato sauce.
In low flame mix everything nicely.
Then add cornflour mixed with water and cook till it gravy becomes thick.
Finally, add the fried cauliflower and mix everything nicely and cook again for 5 mins in low flame.
Serve it chapati, fried rice, etc
