Beef Cutlet

Yum Beef Cutlet


Meat (Boiled and minced)- 1/2 kg
Onion-Chopped finely- 1/2 cup
Ginger-chopped fine-2 tbsp
Garlic-1 tbsp
Green chili - chopped-1 tbsp
Cloves-8 nos
Cinnamon-2 " pieces
Pepper- 1 tsp
Fennel seeds - 1/2 tsp
Cardamom- 3 nos
Vinegar- 1 tbsp
Potatoes-Boiled and  mashed- 1 1/2 cup
Bread crumbs- As required
Salt- to taste
Oil- for frying


Clean the beef and cook it with turmeric powder, pepper powder, salt and little water in a pressure cooker (3-4 whistles). Once cooked, mince meat using a food processor(make sure not to grind it so much) or a fork.
Powder the ingredients from cloves to cardamom. Heat oil in a pan and saute ingredients -Onions, green chili, ginger, and garlic. Add minced meat, vinegar, salt, and powdered spices. Stir fry. When it cools, add mashed potatoes, salt,  and mix well.
Shape into a cutlet, dip each into beaten eggs white, and roll in bread crumbs.  Heat oil in a pan and fry it.
Serve it.
