Nadan Tharavu Curry/Spicy Duck Curry

Ingredients
Duck -1 kg peeled and cleaned

Onion-3-4 medium size

Ginger-garlic paste- 1 tbspoon

Tomato -3-4 medium size

Curry leaves- 2 sprigs

Salt to taste

Coconut oil

Coconut milk-1 ½ cup(Thick)

Turmeric Powder-1/4 tspoon

Garam masala – 2 tbspoon

Coriander powder-2 tbspoon

Pepper powder-2 tspoon

For marination

Vinegar-1 ½ tspoon

Chilly powder-1 tspoon

Salt to taste

Method
First boil some water .Add peeled and cleaned duck and turmeric powder .Let it boil for a few minutes.

After that keep it in a drainer to drain .

Then marinate the duck pieces with the ingredients specified in the list.

And keep it aside for 20-30 minutes

Heat oil in a pan , add onion and saute it for a few minutes till it becomes golden brown in color.

Then add green chillies and ginger-garlic paste

And saute it nicely,then add tomatoes.

Add all the masala powders and saute again for 2-3 minutes .

Add the marinated duck pieces and mix well , and add coconut milk and salt needed to taste.

Shift the whole contents to a pressure cooker , and allow it to get cooked for 30-35 minutes.

After these get cooked nicely, heat oil in a pan, add curry leaves ,add the cooked duck mixture and mix everything nicely and serve it with rice/chappathi/Idiappam/pidi
