Kerala style Tomato Pachadi



Curd- 1cup

Grated coconut- 1 cup

Tomato – 4 medium size

Green chilly- 5

Mustard seed- 1 teaspoon

Salt to taste

Curry leaves- 2 sprigs

Coconut oil

Dry red chilly -2


Cut the cleaned tomatoes into small cubes.

In a mixer grinder, grind grated coconut with green chilly and mustard seeds to a smooth paste.

Heat oil in a pan, saute tomatoes for a few minutes .

Then add the ground mixture of coconut,and mix everything nicely.

Add required salt , and cook for a few minutes.Then add curd 

 and mix everything nicely.

Finally splutter mustard seeds, dry red chillies and curry leaves .Pour this over the pachadi, and serve it with rice.
