Chicken Sweet & Sour
Ingredients
chicken boneless 200gms
Tomato ketchup 3 tbsp
soya sauce 1 tsp
vinegar 2tbsp
sugar 1/2 tsp
pepper powder1 tsp
Chicken stock-2 1/2 cups
corn flour 2 1/2 tbsp
diced capscicum-2
carrots -2 diced
onions - cut into dices
{capscicum and carrots dipped in boiling water for a few seconds}
oil for frying
Batter
2 eggs
2 tbsp corn flour salt as required
Method
cut the chicken into 1' square pieces
mix eggs , flour, corn flour,and salt to tast to make a thick smooth batter
marinate the chicken in this batter and keep aside for 20 mins
heat oil and deep fry the chicken pieces individually
till cooked and golden brown in color.keep aside
In a wok add stock and add the stock to boil
Add tomato ketchup, soy sauce,pepper and sugar.Boil for one minute
Dissolve the cornflour in 1/2 cup water and add to the stock,stirring continuously
till the sauce thickens
Add the vegetables and chicken Cook for one minute
Add vineger,and remove from fire.Serve hot
