Chicken Liver Pepper Fry/Karal Varattiyathu


                                              Chicken Liver is a delicious dish,which can be cooked in a very less 

time. Chicken liver contains so many nutrients.This dish is prepared with pepper 

powder,coriander powder etc,hence it’s a delicious one.

Prep Time: 30 mins

Serves: 4


Chicken Liver- ½ kg

Turmeric Powder- ¼ Tspoon

Chilly Powder-1 tspoon

Coriander Powder- 1 tablespoon

Garam masala-1/2 tspoon

Pepper Powder-1 Tablespoon

Onion- 3-4 medium size sliced into straight pieces

Ginger- garlic paste- ¾ Tspoon

Salt – to taste 



Heat oil in a kadai,saute onions till it becomes golden brown color.

Then add Ginger- garlic paste again saute it for a few minutes.

Then add all the masala powders and saute it nicely till its raw smell goes.

Then add salt and chicken liver pieces and some water ,mix everything nicely.

Close the lid and cook it for 25 minutes in low flame.

Serve it hot with rice/chappathi
